For the third year running, Stewartville Community Theater is proud to participate in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics in Rochester. This Saturday, February 13, a plunge team comprised of Laura Andrews, RaeAnn Gotch, Tony Knutson, Lee Menz, and Dave Stepan will brave the forecasted 5° high temperatures and take a quick dip in the lake for this noble cause. If you would like to come out and support your fellow thespians and be a spectator at the event, the group will be plunging shortly after 1:30 PM. Please see this link for parking and shuttle information as there is no on-site parking at Foster Arend park.
All of our plungers would welcome any pledge you are willing to make in support of their efforts this weekend. To make a tax-deductible pledge online, visit our plunge team webpage and make a secure donation to a single team member or one amount for all members of the team. Cash and check donations are also excepted-please contact the plunger you would like to support directly for details on how to do this. Donations in any amount are helpful and incredibly appreciated as we strive to support our local Special Olympics athletes.
